The Contact Lens Institute is an optometric clinic dedicated to contact lenses and myopia control. Our doctors are specially trained in the art and science of contact lens fitting and have extensive experience in all aspects of contact lenses/myopia control. We specialize in myopia management/control (including atropine treatment and MiSight), orthokeratology/CRT lenses, scleral lenses, rigid gas permeable lenses, hybrid lenses, multifocal lenses, theatrical/cosmetic/colored lenses, and general soft lenses. Born and raised in the Bay Area, Dr. Neufeld obtained his B.S. in Biology from UCLA and his O.D. degree from Southern College of Optometry, where he graduated with honors. He has a strong passion for providing personable, thorough, and informative care to all his patients.
Dr. Jeffrey Kong is a full time assistant clinical professor at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry. After completing his B.S. in Bioengineering at UC San Diego, he completed his optometric training at the UC Berkeley School of Optometry and the Cornea and Contact Lens Residency at the University of Houston College of Optometry.
